Free Movie Screening of Cultural Film


Dangerous Living: Coming Out In A Developing World is a movie that highlights the ever-increasing difficulties faced by gays and lesbians  throughout the world.

On Friday April 1 at 5:30 P.M. in Willard 010, is a free movie Screening and Discussion. Discussant is Dr. Rachel Lewis, dissertation fellow in Gender & Women’s Studies.

OSU Lahoma Club Extends Scholarship Deadline

(October 26, 2010   Stillwater, OK) – The Oklahoma State University Lahoma Club is extending the deadline for scholarship applications until Wednesday, Nov. 3.  While the number of awards given varies, last year Lahoma Club awarded seven $500 scholarships to OSU students. 

Applicants must have completed at least 30 credit hours, with at least 12 hours at OSU.  Students need a minimum 3.0 GPA and must be enrolled full time for Spring 2011.   Participation in extracurricular activities, financial circumstances and career aspirations will be taken into consideration by the selection committee.  A letter of reference from an OSU faculty member is required along with an official transcript. 

Applications are available in 119 Student Union or on line at Lahoma Club Scholarships. All applications must be received by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010, in the OSU Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid, 119 Student Union or via email at LOSU@okstate.edu.
